private patio area, on-site parking, large balcony
Having no sun on the northern side of the building was quite disappointing!!! The busy road made it hard to sleep with windows open!!! A bit more attention to the garden maintenance could really enhance the overall experience!!!

An excellent base to explore the Sorrento peninsula, and a ten minute stroll to the centre of town. The breakfast is minimal, but you could be happily self-sufficient as this is a comfortable and smart appartment building for self-contained travellers - the owner is helpful and happy to help if you are cheerful and polite. He recommends the excellent touist restaurant across the road, and had good suggestions for activities. The gates are only just wide enough for a small car, but no problem parking pre-season.

Reasonably clean hotel in a spotlessly clean building next to the centre of Sorrento, and a lovely walk passing an overlook. Modern airy room with a terrace in the garden. Perfect location, 5 minutes' walk to a wide-ranging museum. Also, to everything with good transportation options from Sorrento to everything you might want to see.

Firstly the Villa Rosa is not a Hotel or b&b, it is 'Rooms to. The rate is pretty good, but don't be fooled many of the basic services (including customer service) that we all expect as standard are non-existent. We arrived at 9.30pm after a long day's travelling. The front gate was open, the reception door was open, but it was un-staffed and in darkness (officially reception is open until 10.30pm). We spent 30 minutes searching for life and ringing a bell, but there were no signs of life. No note or key had been left for us. We were about to check into another nearby Hotel when I decide to walk across the road to the local restaurant/bar and found the proprietor 'Fabio' having his dinner. Although I had booked months in advance for seven nights, he appeared to have no idea that we were coming. The 'included breakfast' must be the world's most minimal and is a disgrace - you get just a few packets of jam, some odd cornflakes, crackers and tea bags. No milk, coffee or bread/rolls is provided. The room is only cleaned and towels replaced twice a week. The breakfast was NOT re-stocked daily. Our shower had quite a lot of mould at the joints. Reception was virtually unstaffed for the week (try the local restaurant/bar) so there is no one to ask for advice on buses etc. Security was a joke. Fabio expects you to leave key on the reception desk each day. The reception door is left unlocked. The front gate is often unlocked too. The rooms do NOT have a safe. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you just want a room and the basic services (including customer service) are unimportant to you.
A potentially nice property is spoilt by it's very poor Management.

Loved our spacious studio with a massive balcony perfect for evening relaxation! The surrounding garden was a great spot to unwind and enjoy a drink. Just a heads up, the road outside can be a bit noisy at night, but the AC makes it manageable. 😊

We stayed in a spacious studio for 4 nights. It had a nice layout with a large bathroom and a kitchenette, really convenient. The massive balcony was perfect for chilling out. The room was cleaned daily and felt super cozy. Only downside was the street noise made it tough to keep the windows open at night, but the AC was strong enough to handle it.

The room was spacious and well-maintained, with a large balcony perfect for evening relaxation. Daily cleaning kept everything fresh, and the kitchen area was convenient for quick snacks. Enjoying local French pastries was a good bonus. The busy road outside made sleeping with windows open impossible. While the AC worked well, the noise level could be disruptive at times. The parking situation was tricky, as limited options are available nearby.
